The 76 was specially designed for use with sails between 4.2 and 5.6m, whilst the 84is meant for ones between 4.5 and 6m. Drops persues the slalom project with boards that are extremely fast in both light and strong winds. The hull is a double concave with flat areas at the sides that turns into a very light V towards the stern , the rails are curved in order to improve control during straight-line sailing and more docile whilst gybeing, enabling the rider to concentrate only on going as fast as possible.
At the same tieme the wide tail and a sharp rails for the last 80 cm give incredible upwind performance and speed even in lulls.
