Triton silt curtains, manufactured locally in the UAE are a containment boom that reduces the migration of sand and silt during dredging and other marine construction activities. The silt curtain drop can be adjusted to suit specific site requirements and is manufactured using geotextile material making it permeable enough to allow water through and still stop sand and debris from passing. This effectively reduces the spread of silt to a confined area and reduces risk to key receptors in the vicinity.
