At North West Marine (NWM), we specialize in maintaining aids to navigation (AtoN) systems to ensure safe and efficient marine operations. Our team conducts monthly maintenance on Triton Navigation Buoys, Mooring systems and other demarcation systems  installed across Dubai’s waterways, following the IALA Guidelines and site-specific conditions.

Our Maintenance Process

🔹 Buoy Cleaning – Using our specialized Multicat vessel, Remora, equipped with an onboard crane, we remove marine growth and debris, ensuring maximum visibility and functionality.

🔹 Marine Lantern Inspection – We clean and thoroughly inspect marine lanterns to ensure they are 100% operational, replacing batteries if required.

🔹 Mooring System Inspection – We thoroughly check chains, shackles, and sinkers to ensure buoys remain securely in place.

🔹 Component Replacement – Any damaged or worn-out parts are replaced promptly to maintain buoy performance and longevity.
